Ok... we've got one last hope for the year, and it starts with Porto on Feb. 17.

The good news is that we've got mostly "should win" games coming up all the way through the end, with only a couple of top 10 teams. So at least we'll hang around the top 3, even though it's over for the title. Look at our run up to the end (after L'pool next):

Sunderland, Stoke, Burnley, Hull, West Ham, Birmingham, Wolves, then Tot, Wigan, City, Blackburn and Fulham. Although Burnley can be a handful, right Manchester?

Seriously, we should get 30 points from that stretch, but even that won't be enough.

^ they were good, but I wouldnt say they gave a new meaning to dominance....Arsenal had more than a few times to come back. They just never found the back of the net.

Agreed, they haven't done that since Jose left. Under Mourinho they just had an aura of invincibility, teams knew before the match started that they weren't going to beat us.

No, but he brought us back to back premiere league titles, and we hadn't won one for the past 50 years. We also won other silver ware with Mourinho and in my opinion it would only have been a matter of time before we did win it if he stayed.

I was totally frustrated by Arsenal's performance, I wanted to pull my hair out and I don't even like the organization. They are the consummate 5th place team and I don't believe they could achieve any better with the current formula/personnel. They had numerous scoring chances but may have had a total of 5 shots on goal in the entire match! What!?

What doesn't look good for Chelsea is that despite Arsenal's futility, they had chances to get back in the game.
