Lakers are taking it, but damn Dwight Howard was a beast tonight.

It was that Pietras guy that beat the Lakers tonight.

Great game by the Magic. They shot the lights out, and played finally got good guard play. The refs were all kinds of bad, but that wasn't the reason the Lakers lost.

Lakers need to take game 4. This will be interesting.

The Lakers were inconsistent, Odom was a non-factor for most of the game, Kobe was tired and forcing things in the 2nd half, the Magic shot 62.5% from the field, and they only won by 4 points. Any hopes the Magic had in making this into a series disappeared with Cortney Lee's missed layup in game 2.

Lakers will take the next two. Look for Odom to have a good game on Thursday (read between the lines - prop bet )

i thought the lakers played relatively well overall. they just couldn't overcome a near perfect night for the magic.

I didn't know there was a banter going on...

Other players on the Lakers need to step it up if they want to win. They can't depend all on Kobe which was apparent in the Cavs vs. Magics series.

Hi,

Why can't the Magic get the ball to Howard? Has he proven unreliable at finishing? It irritates the hell out of me when he always takes the ball down for a dribble when he catches the ball deep in the paint. Come on. Your 12 foot tall, FINISH IT. But the ball delivery he is getting, or simply not getting, looks pretty poor to me.

Amazing shooting from the field though. If they can shoot 60 plus for the rest of the series then you never know.

Cheers,
Nik

Yeah, Dwight really needs to develop his back-to-the-basket game. He's a hell of a rebounder, and defender. He also seems to catch the ball, and reset... instead of keeping the ball high, and finishing. I believe JVG was commenting on this during the game.
