News: According to the Los Angeles Times, Manny Ramirez will be suspended 50 games for a positive PED test.
Impact: Ramirez would easily become the biggest star ever suspended by baseball as part of the new performance-enhancing drug policy. According to the L.A. Times, "Ramirez is expected to attribute the test results to medication received from a doctor for a personal medical issue." More details to come.

1. You can get a waiver for medical prescriptions (prior to taking them).
2. They would vet that prior to deciding / announcing the suspension.
3. Manny isn't challenging the suspension.
Doesn't sound like he feels he's innocent himself (to me.)
