This needs to be said now while he is with us and while if we have the chance to meet this great man... we can thank him personally.

If ever there was a person that deserved to be honored with a stadium or day on the calender, it should be Vin Scully. Not one of those stadiums that changes based on the current sponsor, but a stadium that will always be forever named after him.

When I think back at how much joy this man has given me, words can't seem to rise to meet his stature.

I hope Vin stays forever. How great would that be?

100% in agreement. Grew up a big Dodgers fan. "Divorced" the team after all the changes when the traded Piazza. Vin Scully is the equivalent of Jazz to the game of baseball.
