In an incredible twist never to happen before , Calvin Borrel the winging jockey on Mine that Bird is taking off the derby winner to ride the super filly Rachael Alexandra in this Saturday's Preakness Stakes in Maryland.

Borrel feels this filly is better then all the boys as you can watch her demolish the field in the Kentucky Oaks which was run the day before the derby. The owners of her at that time said they would never run her against the boys but all that changed when she was purchased last week privately by Jess Jackson.

Gobbles jockey's always get 10% of the winning connections share of the purse which is 60%.

So for the derby purse of $2,000,000 the winning connections get 60%

Jockey gets 10% of that -$120,000
Trainer gets 10% of that -$120,000
Winning Owners remaining prize - $ 960,000
