Sorry for not responding before - he is injured and out for a while.

Oh yeah, I hit the $1 tri in the Preakness for a whopping $108! Mine that Bird has closing speed like no other horse I've seen btw, so I agree with your prediction.

Also, DJ, since you're into horses.... how bad a loss is that Dunkirk purchase last year? YIKES!

Pretty bad so far in terms of ROI but he still is a good horse despite the poor derby run, be interested to see if he rebounds in the belmont or as an older horse

So Rachael wont be running the Belmont and Borrell is back on Mine That Bird. That's interesting and I'd say MTB is almost a sure fire winner BUT you never know. DJ, you going to this?

Well as my buddy Kent D called out, Calvin Borrel was being a bit to confident and moved "Mine that Bird" to early. If anyone else was going to win I was glad it was my good buddy Kent D aboard "Summer Bird". If you all are wondering both horses are by former Belmont winner "Birdstone" who was famous for upsetting Smarty Jones's triple crown bid back in 2004. Birdstone's Stud fee used to be $10,000; let's just say it will be a tad more now lol.
