Fat was the 2nd best guard rebounder (behind Magic) of his era. I believe he was the last guard to lead his team in rebounding (no one confused Alex English and Kiki Vandeweigh with Rick Mahorn and Bill Laimbeer).

It's hard to argue against Magic. John Stockton is probably the best pure point guard.

The term "pure" is always interesting in the context used. Visons of Bob Cousy run through my head when I read your thread. Pure or most effective, which is more important?
