Barcelona break another record
Barcelona's 5-0 demolition of Deportivo has seen them break yet more records.
With 50 points from the first half of the season, Barca have the most points ever for a team at this stage, in the time that the league has consisted of 20 teams and awarded three points for a win.
The previous holder was last season's Real Madrid squad, who had 47 points.
Barca have also scored a whopping 59 goals, at an incredible average of 3.1 per game. Hypothetically, should they repeat this tally in the second half of the season, they will finish with 118 goals.
The current record is 107, which was scored by John Toshack's 1989-90 Real Madrid team.
