I would have gone:

1. Fla.
2. USC.
3. Utah.
4. Texas.

Or my Texas(Go Horns!!) would say we beat Ok by 10 and Fla beat Ok by 10. So we should split the National championship!!

Utah was undefeated and hammered Ala. which played a close game to Fla. Its a mute point. We need playoffs!!!

I would have love to see these 4 teams play against each other to decide the championship!!

 

How so? You could say the same thing about every major professional sport but it doesn't happen. In fact, I think a playoff would increase interest in the regular season. The way it is now, if you're teams loses a game early on, you pretty much know they don't have a chance to play for a national championship, but with playoffs they can still fight to get into the playoffs and work themselves into a NC.

 

Utah at number 2 in the country? Give me a break.
