Shelby Supercars sales surge in Dubai

According to this news report out of the gulf it appears SSC seems viable as a company after all noting that Shelby Supercars sold (got orders for) $13 million worth of Tuataras at the 2011 Dubai International Motor Show. Jerod Shelby couldn’t quite believe the success: “This has been a huge show for us – we’ve sold ten cars, which is phenomenal. Our expectation was nothing more than to create awareness of the brand in this region and find a distributor, but this has been amazing. The business has been outstanding.”

Just went to see this "car" tonight. It looks like there is still a long way to go for a real production. Hope they can make it as they promising next year!
