Bills don't feel at home in Toronto

The National Football League went north to play in Canada - much to the dismay of the Buffalo Bills.
The Rogers Centre in Toronto was the site for the Bills' 16-3 loss to the rival Miami Dolphins on Sunday. It was the first NFL regular-season game played in Canada.
The atmosphere was loud for the Rogers Centre, which had an attendance of 52,134 for the game.
It was not as noisy as an outdoor game at Buffalo's Ralph Wilson Stadium but loud for Toronto, which has a reputation for having laid-back fans and a quiet sports atmosphere.
"It didn't feel much like a home game," Buffalo guard Duke Preston said. "It was pretty loud at times and pretty quiet at times, it definitely wasn't an advantage playing here."
There were some Bills fans that were not happy with the game being played indoors in December against a warm-weather division foe. A petition was signed begging the Rogers Centre to open the roof, but it was denied since the roof is sealed for the winter.
Considering the temperature was in the low 20s with a possibility of snow flurries, the cozy indoor scene at the Rogers Centre certainly made for more comfortable playing conditions.
"We would have liked to play at Orchard Park, it's not the same," Buffalo defensive tackle Kyle Williams said. "There's nothing else you can say."
Many Miami fans were in attendance for the game, which made for some mixed cheering and a less than distinct home-field advantage for the Bills.
"We had a lot of fans," said Miami running back Ronnie Brown, who rushed for 70 yards. "It's exciting to get that kind of support."
