I don't think you can predict it. I think it's whoever shows up on any given weekend. You might see more cars on a holiday weekend. I might be wrong though.

 

This was a special weekend because the word got out that McLaren would be there with a 12C and perhaps an F1.

While I have never seen more cars than I have Saturday, I have seen better fields. Like I said, it was kind of a case of quantity over quality.

For some reason the first Saturday of each month tends to draw a bigger crowd. Also, the weather must be good - but that is pretty much a given in So Cal.

The meet is always worth coming to. I have never been when I have not seen at least one thing that made the trip worth it.

Holidays can backfire. Sometimes folks have stuff going on. Usually weekends where not much is happening are the best.

Dana, thanks for taking the time to share your wonderful pictures. I find myself amused that you mentioned me in your post. You're pretty damn good in your own right so don't sell yourself short.

 

I can't belive I didn't find this thread out sooner! Great pics, for me Ferrari Lusso stole the show. When I look at those photos, I wish I lived in Cali!

 

What an event Dana! I was at Irvine CC once and it was just when the Veyron was new, but it didn't have such a great turnout as this one!

You guys are so spoiled who can just nip down and check out some of the finest cars ever built just like that thanks for sharing!

That 993 is spectacular. Are those BBS?

There is something about a 993 Turbo that makes me all warm inside.

 

^I think the front end of the 993 is the best for sure.

 

^ Everything of the 993 was good. I would have liked Porsche to re-integrate the 993's tail light design on the new 991.
