The Very Best I Can Do - C&C Irvine March 13, 2011 MP4-12C, 599 GTO and MORE!

Thanks to everyone for the kind comments.
I was not prepared as well for the pre-dawn shots as I should have been. I needed my full-sized flash but didn't bring it. Live and learn.
Paul brought his full-sized flash and has some nice pics as well. I will encourage him to make a post with some.
It brings me a lot of joy to share things like this with you all.
It is the best meet of its kind in the country. I enjoyed the time we went together too.
I liked the 599 GTO - although there were some tacky design choices on it like the pinstriped wheels.
I was probably most intrigued by the V8 Ariel Atom because there are so few of them. I actually have a video of that guy starting it up.

Thanks brother. It feels good to start contributing car content again.
That Dino was striking. I have seen several but that one was in such pristine condition. The green paint just popped.
The color scheme was unique but - as mentioned above - I hated the pinstripes on the wheels.
Come on Ben. Stop tossing softballs up there.
I told Paul that you would have loved Saturday because of all the classics that were there. I knew you would feel this way.
The funny thing is, I kind of felt the same. Maybe we are both old farts!
No worries brother! There were like 5,000 people there. I hope my fat ass doesn't stand out in a crowd that much!

Pretty crappy video of the MP4-12C. Just too dark for the D90.
But it gets the basic message across. Also added to initial post.
Be sure to watch in high def. Makes a big difference.
The second half - after 1:40 is much better than the first. The sun had come up.

1500 cars? I would no sooner go to this than a Justin Butthead concert with my 12 year old daughter. Zoo to say the very least.
Yes all you youngsters with no taste and appreciation I'm an old man.
