i live in west hills and visit the village coffee roaster frequently. i used to hang out there when dusty first started the "meets". i stopped going on the cruises after the accidents and cops became too frequent. i'm not interested in the drive, but i'll stop by and say hello if i see a group of v's.

 

Who's Dusty? And what crashes?

Thats the thing that concerns me out there--you can go so fast in a car up there, and there's so little room for error. I actually feel safer on a bike

Yea Born in West Hills, Live in Agoura now... Yea I agree about the cruises, w/ accidents and cops. I stay off the main Roads (Kanan, Las Virgenes, Mulholland) as much as possible, and try to keep it interesting, but calm, and steady. Its been stated, and known there will be no Passing, Double Yellow Line Passes, Erratic Driving, etc. Its just to get into some fun Twisties, push the cars, Meet some People, and Have some good Drives! I've done about 5 so far, and they've all been great, with no bad experiences (knock on wood).


Yea I feel Ya - I used to Ride the Roads with 600GSXR, but all the road debris, and sand got me all sketchy - Traded that baby in on a V-Rod, much heavier, and more of a cruiser. Eventually wanna get a Supermoto (525 EXC) That's a Canyon Eating Machine!!

I've spend ALOT of time (10 years) in the canyons, explored every single road up there, so I know alot of the turns, twists - Which helps with the room for Error. I don't like leading the "pack" (stressful) but since I can slow down for crazy turns I know are coming up it makes it a bit safer.

 

Do it!! I have a Husky supermoto and it's the most fun you can have with your clothes on out there and faster than pretty much anything!

 

That shopping center is walking distance from my house. When is everyone meeting there?
