What was up with the rims on the XKS? Very shiny!!!! Very OC!!!!

I am seriously thinking about planning my next trip to SoCal around a C&C meet.
You are very welcome. I love the vintage stuff too. The guys who restore and keep those cars have the most passion!

The 430 is fun when you're not sitting on a freeway at a fairly constant speed. I ended up having to modulate the throttle by letting off around 85 to stop the drone, it was really annoying. It's a lot of fun around town, though i still think a 6 speed would be much more involving - there's no finesse to driving an F1 equipped car.
Did he ever decide what he was going to replace the SL with?

I could see what your saying about the drone, but I still don't feel too bad for you.

He's debating a 997 'S' cab, the facelifted SL and i am trying to persuade him to get the R8 which he likes but he can't lease one as easily.

I'm getting over the facelift SLs already, R8 would be amazing.

Have you ever thought about painting the lowers?

I think right now it does work very well with the wheels but painted it might look sick.
