Atlanta - track time

Are there any tracks where one can go to get some simple track time around Atlanta? Not lessons or anything, just track access for a few laps.

Road Atlanta is awesome. Great turns, elevation changes, etc.

Easiest way to do what you are after is probably to join a local club. Most local clubs, SCCA, BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, etc. will have track days, and most one-make clubs don't require you to drive the club car type on track days, as long as your car passes inspection.

That's great. I didn't know that. Unfortunately the weather doesn't look great for track time, and I'm going back to Miami next week. But will look into whether an opportunity comes up.
