Beer Snobs Unite (Beer 101)

Some of my kill from the three weeks off:
Really liked this beer as a lot of brewers are going a little too high on the alcohol content when it comes to IPAs. It's nice to have an IPA that you can actually drink outside in the heat without feeling massively hammered. I love a good double IPA, however with a cigar and at night IMO. Some may consider this beer to be closer to a Pale Ale than an IPA.

When hitting golf balls on the dock, it doesn't get too much better than this. One of my all time favorite drinkers
I'm a big fan of Dogfish's specialty brews, but this one had me a little underwhelmed. Maybe I expected too much.

Another one of BrewDog's rather potent and hearty beers, I'd recommend it for a try. It's pretty complex, but not overpriced like some of the brewer's other offerings.

No, Hipsters drink PBR. Lonestar is the best cheap beer around in Texas.
I'm a huge Hefeweizen fan. Franziskaner and Live Oak are probably my favorite beers at the moment.

^I used to drink lonestar at bars as I'm actually quite cheap in those situations. Then I noticed the skinny jeans, converse rocking type enjoying the brew (especially in the dirty 6th areas) and that killed it for me. I now fork it over and go with Shiner.
They do like PBR as well. So much so that PBR t-shirts have become hip. By the way, have I told you about the 'hipsters go home' website my friend founded (then soon forgot to pay to keep the site up)? He printed out bumper stickers and everything, but there was no way in hell I'd put one on the M3.
