Lets Talk Gin Gents.

You all should try some craft distilled gins instead of just the mass produced stuff, there's a lot of interesting gin flavors out there.
I recommend Voyager Gin by Pacific Distillery, and Leopold's Gin by Leopold Brothers.
Cheers!

Oh man.... Gin is my drink... I typically stick to Tanq or Ten.
With a basic knowledged bartender I stick to Gin and Tonic (or Soda Water) and Lime....
While at home I prefer making a Fitzgerald. It's 1 shot of Tanq, 1oz of Simple Syrup, and 3/4oz of Lemon Juice with 2 dashes of Angustora Bitters shaken, served in an old fashioned glass...
While I'm at a mixologist I'll order a Silverfox, which is Tanq, lemon juice, egg white, orgeat syrup, topped with amaretto...
Those are two of my regular gin go-to's.

Gents: If you haven't had it, give The Vesper martini a shot. Had one last weekend, and loved it. Doesn't hurt that Bond drinks 'em.
3 measures of gin
1 measure of vodka
1/2 measure Lillet Blanc
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Shaken until very cold, and served with a large, thin lemon peel.
Wow!

A classic Negroni is one of my favs, and the Jasmine is tasty also. Usually though I prefer a classic martini with a twist.
And it's always time for...
cold gin time again!

Definitely should try it. Forgot to mention that it is shaken with ice until very cold, though it isn't served with ice.

I'm a Hendricks drinker as well.
For the best Hendricks and tonic on earth, Citronelle in DC can't be beat. The bartender there, Angel, makes fresh tonic water water and muddles in quinine powder along with thinly sliced cucumber. It's life changing.

Sounds very nice, I may try to make some on my own. Is the fresh tonic water carbonated?

Fresh with the lemon and lime juiced in. I might give making my own tonic a try as well. Some easy enough recipes online.
