I agree, good tequila should not be consumed with salt/lime/etc.

Personally, I'll let it "simmer" in my mouth for ~5 seconds before swallowing. Like Robert said, this allows you to actually taste the flavors in the good stuff rather than just opening the hatch.

People usually look at me like i'm nuts when I dont use any lime/salt and then let it sit.... :rofl:

A quick story on Tequilla. My buddies and I were playing poker at one of their Vacation homes in Lake Tahoe and one of them suggested that who ever lost a hand, had to take a shot of Tequilla. Well I'm not that good at poker, we started to chase the worm and the one that got it got the $1,000.00 pot. Well I ended up with the worm and have never ever been so sick in my entire adult life.

I cannot even smell Tequilla in the air now without feeling like I'm going to lose it!!

Moral of the story: Know your limits and money isn't everything!!

Weird... I always thought you snorted a line of salt, took the shot, and then squirted lime in your eye. "Family shot", FTMFL... literally one of the most ridiculous things I've done.
