You can't go wrong with this stuff! I used to be a glenlivet fan when I first started, but now of days, it just doesn't do it for me anymore.

I don't really like Macallan neat, but this Glenfiddich is damn tasty neat. I think I'm definitely going to start drinking this on a regular basis.

I prefer Macallan with 1 cube. Try the Glenmorangie, it will blow the 'fiddich away!

I tried a Macallan 12 year over the weekend warming up for the superbowl and was very impressed with it.
I have a sizable gift card to the LCBO and am thinking of getting a bottle or two to add to the collection. does anyone have any suggestions as for something "off the beaten path"?

Wish I could give you some suggestions, but as wines, scotches also differ by region. i say head to a scotch tasting and purchase any of the ones listed above. btw, if you do pick up something different than above, please share your notes on how you found it to taste. man, i could so go for a drink right now

Lagavulin 16 is my go-to Single Malt. I have some nicer ones for special occasions. Always neat with a small splash of water to open it up...the only way to drink Scotch.

if you haven't tried Oban 14 yet I say give it a shot, you won't be disappointed. (unless you really like the Listerine tasting scotches)
