I really don't think we will see much a change than we have this far.

This is a good question that was posed. Seeing the amount of time and money that Audi pours into racing I wonder what will happen to Porsche racing. Who knows we might see a tdi boxster in the next 10 years

Part of the agreement that ISN'T in print is who is in charge of ALL Sports Car development for VAG.

-Porsche.

The brand if anything, will be better than ever.

What does it really matter who owns the firm.

Fiat has owned Ferrari forever and it's never diluted the brand and they are still very strong.

This! Also as long as STOPPIE info is correct and I have no reason to think otherwise that is great news.

It's not like they're going to publish that to the general public; but at every product launch for the last few years, it's been mentioned quite a few times. And as it's been pointed out- over and over- Lamborghini and Bentley have BOTH enjoyed MUCH success.

The two main reasons why VW acquired Porsche are: 1) Porsche has high profit margins for them (bling bling yo!) and 2) their impeccable ability at developing, designing and producing VERY quick and efficient cars.

Mostly employing Engineers, the Porsche acquisition for VW was a 'makes perfect sense' decision.

I trust VW to leave Porsche alone to keep on producing some of the finest, purest, most sought after machines the world has seen.

We shall see what the future holds. At this point, I'm wary of the deal. I don't like seeing Audi parts plopped into Lambos, and am thinking the same will happen with Porsche.
