IMO, don't buy something like this unless you have a pretty good budget to work with. It's not the cost of the car that will get you, it's the cost to maintain it. Even being such low millage cars, I know both of the above cars' owners have pumped serious money into them to bring them up to snuff

Pete, please dont get me wrong. I know all about buying cars from pictures since I am in the car business myself. I also currently own an E30 and E36 so I also very well aware of buying a car and dumping a lot of money into it. Also knowing myself I will want to do all the traditional mods to it right away.
