As good as it looks is subjective.
Will it out handle a wide body elise?I think it's safe to say not a chance. More then likely, any car is a step backward in that department..... but i still think it would have excellent performance to go with its amazing attention to detail and style. Some may say owing a sail boat over a power boat is for people who are old enough to sit back and look pretty, but i am sure it's a thrill in its own right.

I'd like to see how well the Singer can handle the twisties with it's power on understeer and I'm sure snap oversteer with it's wheel tire combination on an old chassis with twice the power..... It has to be one throttle steering mudda ****er to control....I bet its fun but I'm sure it'll kill ya if you're not payin attention.

Yes that may be true, but you are comparing apples and oranges I'm sure your Lotus will out handle it. But this is a classic that has been re-incarnated, plus the Lotus has no where the same look and appeal as the Porsche does...

I really would like to see the Singer in the twisties driven by someone other than a PR sales person...

Excellence magazine drove the Singer and reviewed it and they weren't too pleased with the suspension and handling dynamics and said that it could use some work with dampening/valving and alignment. I'm sure since then Singer has probably went back to the drawing board with the suspension settings but that's just my guess.

It would be cool to see the finished dialed in product road tested and put through a real drive by a true Porsche driver without bias towards the outcome.... This car will never do a track day without getting trashed [looks]. But it can be road tested hard and that's what really counts in the end.
