I don't think the car is so much overlooked, as it's just very hard to get one's hands on an example. Personally, I'd love to try and convert a standard 993 into one as we couldn't get these in the US.

RS's never made it to the US just a few were imported. Great cars with many in europe for sale.

A friend of mine has one, he actually has a few RS's. It's a spectacular car. Really awesome to drive! The engine is also very raw. Air cooled really has it's own unique character.

I'm convinced the RS was the most fun to drive out of all 993's with the slight increase in power, lesser weight, N/A engine and RWD.
I just wish they would have fitted it with the wide body but I guess you can't have everything.

A friend of mine that had one in Portland. He since has sold it to an overseas client. It was Yellow so it was all wrong in the color department though

They are cool

They are very desirable here in the UK with prices ranging quite wildly based on mileage, provenance and colour. I've been keeping my eye out for a silver one for a while... One day. Probably the ultimate 993, therefore the ultimate 911?
