AutoExpress: Porsche confirms new small sportscar
#12
What I've had in mind for a while is a car called the Porsche Spyder. Basically a small extremely sport, very light, very wide, very low, and very fast, small, manual topped Spyder type car with a 500hp NA flat 6 engine all for around 200k.
Take a minute to let that in and imagine it.
I love all of Porsche's future model plans, but I hate the idea of the flat four Boxster/Cayman. I really hope they can make it work.

Okay, a base model with all of the luxuries with an auto top for 150k, and an RS model for 175k.

It's gonna cost ya but I love that idea. For the street none the less
I think a 356 replacement would be awesome. Soft top manual light weight better brakes and a little more engine than before

Porsche needs to remake this:

Make it 100% true in dimensions, a flat-four, very limited options, etc. Obviously it would require modern mechanicals, A/C, etc., but nothing prevents it from being light and fun (see Mazda Miata). For all of us that would love the old package in a reliable, ready-to-use form, it would be a Godsend. If the price were near $40K, Porsche would sell TONS.
