My 1987 Carrera Targa -- Need Sound Help!
All --
So my '87 Targa is here -- awesome car -- love the 3.2.
Wanted more aggressive sound. Almost pulled trigger on a Dansk + custom job w/ center dual exhaust, etc., but decided to try a Fabspeed Maxflo muffler, sport cat and airbox to see what that would do.
Turns out, not much in the sound department. The HP gain is noticable especially in the 4k - 6k RPM range but man...sounds like stock.
Anyone have any suggestions on getting this thing to bark? Weekend car, no need for emissions as under PA classic car status.

if you dont need the sport cat why is it on your car?I have a extra pipe that would replace the factory cat that might help you.I have SSI headers/ heat exchangers with M&K custom muffler now on my 3.2 http://www.mkexhaust.com/
