Nice progress! Any ETA on when it'll be all finished?

 

thanks! should have the car painted in about a week.. then i can put the car back together and throw on the brakes, suspension, seats, carpet kit, door cards, etc etc.. that will take 1-2 weeks.

here's the latest.. the KW V3's arrived from germany, and the kevlar carbon roof skin has been fitted to the car. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

my friend bryce stopped in after work to help block sand the roof before primer


rob / flipside customs welded my hood squirters and emblem holes shut on the hood




545 primer


after 545, high build, and awlfair.. sanded up to 120 and ready for final coat of 545 primer




yellow stuff over areas with metal work = awlgrip anti-corrosive 30-Y-94 primer
white = awlgrip 545 primer
beige = awlgrip high build primer
red = awlgrip awlfair fairing compound

roof and quarter panel will get final coat of primer tomorrow, which i'll sand to 400 on Thursday/Friday. we'll be spraying color and clear over the weekend, i'll start putting everything back together next week
