That is rad! I would buy one as a commuter and if it had rear wheel drive it would be even cooler. I still think a new 914 would be the coolest thing ever, with a 2.0t engine in the middle.

I really hope they can pull the concept off properly. I am envisioning a $35k to 40k price point for entry and S models.

I think you are forgetting the way Porsche started. Back in the 60's a normal blue collar working man could buy a new 356, then Porsche had the 912, 914, 924, and 944.
