I am signing myself and my father up for some local auto-x/DE events and am interested in purchasing a couple of helmets. I understand that they have loaner ones on hand but my gut tells me that these will be few and it will be easier to pick up a budget one.

These is our first time trying this out so the cheaper the better--within reason. If we catch the bug then I am sure we will upgrade to better ones later on.

Any input?? Also, do you recommend full-face or not?
