Marussia tester De Villota injured in test crash

Following Maria De Villota’s accident at Duxford in the UK on Tuesday, Marussia have released a further update on the medical condition of their test driver.

De Villota was taken from the airfield to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge and a surgical team embarked on a lengthy operation to address the serious head and facial injuries she sustained. The Spaniard, who has lost her right eye as a result of the crash, remains in a critical but stable condition.

I started reading the comment and was shocked that there was no Skull F'ing comment. I hope she is ok.

 

I was thinking more alone the line of "what the hell was a woman doing driving anyway, there is a sammich not being made somewhere" so there goes the thread.

And my GF just laughed out loud. Then asked me for scallops with truffle oil for dinner. Whole Foods here I come again. Dammit.

Reports are that she was struck in the head with a unrestrained frying pan. Experts say kitchens were never designed to with stand such immense g forces.
