Q1 will be awkward, the top teams will try to use the medium compounds...although it takes 3-4 laps to reach their peak operating temps. Q2 and Q3 will be more indicative of actual pace.

They've all pitted, having each done 6-7 laps on those tires.

Nice to see Kovalainen beat out a mid-pack car to get into Q2, he's overachieving in that car & hope he gets a better ride next season.

Alonso should have never gone out in Q2 on the medium compound, hopefully he doesn't regret that during the race when his mediums are used compared to some of the other frontrunners.
