2012 Formula 1 Official European GP Banter Thread

This upcoming weekend is the European GP from Valencia, Spain! With 7 different winners in 7 races, the action continues with no clear championship leader at this point. Although Lewis Hamilton established a 2 pt lead over Fernando Alonso in Montreal, Valencia is the Ferrari driver's home track which may give him extra incentive to try to regain his point lead.

Make sure to check this thread all weekend for banter during practice, qualifying, and of course the race.

For those in the US, SPEED will not be airing the race so check your local listings for when FOX will broadcast the race.

I hope Alonso repeats as winner. Someone needs to take the step in this season.

I'd love to see an 8th winner. Maybe Schumacher will actually finish a race this season? Or perhaps Kimi will have a go?

Like hammy, but would be awesome if kimi or grosjean could get a win. To make it 8 for 8

Having an 8th winner will be a long shot. Whoever qualifies in the top 3 will win the race.

Ya, Valencia's a hard circuit to pass on so qualy's going to be key. They said 6th would be a long shot, but we're at 7 now

A Kimi win would be sweet; he has never won there. Him qualifying well though is a longer shot than an 8th winner IMO...he's been really struggling in that dept all year.
