I actually watched the documentary 'Truth in 24 II: Every Second Counts' this afternoon. Highlighted the 2011 season and the competitiveness between Audi and Peugeot. It was amazing how Audi lost two of is R18 TDI's to crashes, but its remaining car passed Peugeot to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans, The #2 Audi car beat the Peugeot # 9 car by a mere 13.854 seconds. You guys should check it out, i really enjoyed it.

I'm hoping Toyota can stay in the mix, their reliability has seemed iffy. The Dome just crashed a few minutes ago. Hopefully it's nothing more than body work.

I'd love to see an Oak or Pescarolo be in the mix somehow at the end. lol

 

I agree totally. While we all know that Audi will most likely run away with it I hope theres competition. I think it'll be an Audi diesel vs. Audi hybrid race this year. Could be wrong though!

 

I wounder if ferrari has what it takes it win in gt or will corvette take first place, personally i'm a corvette fan

 

I love the GT class and always hope that Corvette wins. I would like to see the Lizards or AM be in the running also.

hey i was looking at the qualification results and realized that there are non bmws anyone know why ..

 

BMW is focusing on the DTM series, and this year will be their final year in ALMS as well...

Although Audi is in DTM and has the resources to fight for the FIA's World Endurance Championship, apparently BMW doesn't have the same resources or chooses to use them elsewhere (such as in the GT1 series & others besides WEC).

 

Interesting. Didn't know that. Where's Joey Hand gonna end up? Put him in a P-car. Was getting tired of seeing him and the Bimmers taking pole at every friggin race.
