French GP returns in 2013, Spa put on hold
French Grand Prix set to return in 2013 - GPUpdate.net
The French Grand Prix will be returning to the F1 calendar in 2013, leParisien reports on Thursday. Tomorrow, Prime Minister Francois Fillon is expected to confirm that Paul Ricard will be back on the schedule for the first time since 1990. The Belgian Grand Prix will be placed on hold, as the two races begin to alternate.
In a long-expected move, France will be back for the first time since 2008, when Magny-Cours last hosted the race which was won by Felipe Massa.
It is believed the Paul Ricard event will cost approximately 16.7 million pounds (€20m), which has been lowered from an initial offer of 17.6 million pounds ($28m) from FOM’s Bernie Ecclestone.
This means, not only will Paul Ricard – now a highly advanced testing facility – return for the first time in 23 years, but Belgium’s popular Spa-Francorchamps will be off the calendar sporadically as the race continues to make losses.
2012 marks a French Renaissance for the sport, with three national drivers on the grid: Romain Grosjean, Jean-Éric Vergne and Charles Pic.

Or a Tilke track. They're all the same. Long back stretch, followed by a hairpin, the front stretch is usually a third of the length of the longest stretch and usually contains second and third gear turns.
In a recent interview, he said he has to design the courses they way he does because MotoGP runs on them too. ... Yeeeaaaah.
