No racing in the rain, but be our guest and blow past a pickup with a turbine and a filled-to-the-brim 200 gallon fuel tank strapped to it.

NASCAR is really the lowest common denominator in all of motorsports.

I believe it did do some damage to the track, they used some 2part goop to fill in the groove that formed where the burning kerosene was.. I think after a couple of years ago when they had the old track lifting up in the corners and had to patch it and it deleyed the race massively they devised a quicker solution that seems to work..

Something like this product..

I'm impressed with Nascar too burn more jet fuel than a 737 over the passed two days to dry the track, patched the track after the fire and ran it till 1am so it ran the full distance... Respect..

How many Colombians does it take to start a fire?

Just Juan...

Man, that was a serious fireball. In hindsight, it probably would've been safer to just run the race in the rain...

Watched it happen live; one of the craziest wrecks i've ever seen. Just glad everybody was okay.

It's seriously a miracle that nobody got hurt in that incident... or in any of the crashes last night. That hit that Jimmie Johnson took on lap 1.5 looked pretty rough.

I rarely watch NASCAR, but that was some great entertainment last night. I might just tune in for Phoenix this weekend (hell, I've got to watch something while waiting for F1 to finish up testing ).
