This is just ridiculously insane.
JPM was catching up to the pack at what looks to be over 100mph during a caution and something broke in the car and it spun right into the jet dryer, which then exploded. The jet dryer supposedly had about 200 gallons of jet fuel in it. I am shocked the track seems to be OK after having been on fire for what had to be over 5 minutes.

He had some problems with his car and spent some time in the pits and was just catching up to the rest of the cars.
I think this will precipitate some changes to future races like fuel cells in the safety vehicles, less jet fuel on board, safety gear for the drivers of safety vehicles - helmets, fire suits, etc, but I don't see them implementing a speed limit for drivers catching up to the pack.
