Well Peugeot's LMP1 cars obviously won't be destroyed, couldn't a private team take the baton from them & carry on? I'm sure there are certain private teams that could handle a project like this, such as Team Matmut or Team Oreca.

Peugeot axed any privateer plans as well. The only wanted to race 908's if they could run a factory effort.
