Ferrari promises return to F1 top in 2012

According to reports from the recent Ferrari press conference in Northern Italy, Formula 1 drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa say all the ingredients are in place to help their team Ferrari to improve drastically in the forthcoming new season.

The two spoke at the annual media ski meeting that brings together Ferrari and Moto GP team Ducati at the mountain retreat of Madonna di Campiglio, in northern Italy. The same event where Alonso and Massa put on a the fun exhibit of racing two Ferrar FF's down a slalom course at the resort. “The team, I think, has been working more effective, in a more efficient way in the last couple of months,” Fernando Alonso, two-time World Champion, said. “I think the results, if they have to come, they should come immediately. I don’t think we need any time.”

“The important thing is to be back on the winning direction,” Felipe Massa stressed. “I want to win races. I want to be perfect from the beginning to the end of the season.”

F1's most decorated team, Ferrari, finished behind Red Bull and McLaren-Mercedes, last year. The new Formula 1 season is to take start in Australia on March 18.

All the years say the same...

In the Spanish TV all you hear is: "Alonso is the best driver but this year doesn't have the car to show it."
