In my experience at previous F1 races it's better to buy a general admission pass and have free roam of the place. There isn't a "BEST" place to watch an F1 race IMO.

That was my thinking as well. However, it looks like there will be good viewing angles from nearly everywhere on track.

I'm kind of up in the air about this. When I was at the Monaco GP, a grandstand seat was a must, however that was a street circuit. When I went to the Petit Le Mans, general admission was perfect. I'm leaning towards general admission because its a true circuit layout and because the track is pread across such a wide area.

well I have a lot of people from different parts of the country trying to meet up so I might just have everybody get General admission tickets so we can all sit together

I think Monaco is probably the rare exception along with the likes of Singapore. Those places having a seat is almost a must. At purpose built circuits they tend to have a "natural" stadium element in the open areas.
