"A big crash just happened on lap 3 of the GT Cup at Macau, China. Thankfully all the drivers are okay. The Audi R8 engine blew up and was leaking oil. The (pro) driver kept racing and split oil over the racing line. This is a very fast corner and drivers barely lift from the throttle going round it; if there is oil on the braking zone, its almost impossible to slow down.
Everyone is ok but white F430 driver is still in hospital with broken vertebrae and punctured lung. The race was red flagged almost immediately after this accident."

I have to wonder what the heck the flaggers were doing before that corner. Those cars were seriously running hot. Its almost like a car had a mechanical and dropped oil in the brake zone.

Damn! That was an insane crash. Extremely lucky that no one got seriously hurt. On a side note. When executed, that corner is WICKED!
