You make it sound so simple...It is not so. Not to mention the protests of the last month are more geared towards Law 78 that was to be passed then has been passed.

I do admit I simplified the situation, but it boiled down to a tuition raise as the main issue.

I can't see the race being cancelled. The protests could make it difficult to get to and from the track and probably will put a damper on the downtown festivities but if you are with locals you should be able to have a great time.

I doubt my boys and I will be going anywhere but our usual spot. Grass fed NY strips and cases of beer will be coming from New Hampshire. Thursday afternoon we make our supermarket and liquor store run for the weekend.
