So it's essentially about the fact they don't want the tuition hike and want free education? I can understand fighting a crazy tuition hike, but otherwise they sound like they are whining. Although, I didn't listen too closely to the video.

They already have the most affordable post secondary education in Canada. This is getting kind of crazy.

Where do they think the money is going to come from to pay for the school? Or do they not care as long as it's not their pockets?

Canadian taxpayers. Quebec has a lot of pull in Canadian federal politics. Its very hard to get a majority goverment with out the province.

So people who paid for school and earned their degrees will now have to pay higher taxes to pay for these whiny little bastards schooling so they can all be art history majors?? That's why I avoid stuff like this. It makes me mad. I hope they all don't get run over by Ferraris during GP week...

I'm actually not looking forward to this as we are gonna look so bad on a global level when the GP comes into town.

I'm so ashamed right now to be associated with this student / welfare class socialist movement. Its moved from a strike protesting a tuition hike (instead of being 90% paid by taxpayers, "only" 85% in the future) to a general anti-capitalist movement.

This is what you are now faced with when you ride in your 2012 CLS63AMG

CLS vs Protestor

tuition rates are set to go up $1800 over the next 7 years. so less the $300 each year. The protesters need to grow up. plus getting in bed with anarchist groups such as the black block really isn"t going to help their cause
