So Bruno had a very average race at Spa, but outqualified Alonso on the ultimate driver's circuit. Pretty impressive. Can't wait until Monza; Bruno should have the car to do well here. the FEE on that Renault should make it a monster in the traction zones and under heavy braking.

As I have said, if Heidfeld was so bad, what is Petrov?

Heidfeld outscored him all season long.

Petrov is also in his second year of F1, is a product of the no-testing era, and has limited open wheel experience. This is not to make excuses for the guy, but he's still learning, has speed, and has more upside than Heidfeld.

Nick has had his time in F1. It's clear that he's average, and Renault need a star.
