This is a large population of Cali ex-pats, who've fled their former land and think they can call themselves Texans.
I still think that we've got a good chance of making this event happen. The track is coming along well, but the population needs to understand how important this race will be for the local economy. I am not at all impressed by the marketing/PR work being done by those holding the event.
