2011 Bahrain GP Cancelled! :-(
Just when I was thinking of going this year
The Bahrain Grand Prix will no longer go ahead this year, with organizers admitting that 'the fixture cannot progress'. A new date of October 30 was penned in for the race by the World Motor Sport Council last week (WMSC), moving India back to the final slot on the calendar. However, the Formula One Teams Association (FOTA) were left unhappy with the outcome and felt the move would cause substantial logistical issues.

Sucks that it was cancelled, but it shouldn't have been reinstated in the first place. The FIA's method of determining whether the Bahrain GP was safe was pathetic. Is Bahrain still a bit of a mess? I guess only the people that live there truly know, but at least they'll have the opening race next year.
