I know it's still far too early, but... if YOU were in charge of Ferrari and were constantly complaining about the 1-lap pace of the car, wouldn't you want to practice qualifying laps during some part of these practice sessions? I know it's a given that the teams love to keep their poker faces on, but how else is a team supposed to understand their qualifying inferiority without setting qualifying laps during practice? Pushing 100% while there's plenty of fuel in the car just isn't the same as pushing 100% on a low fuel run. The car behaves differently. Not once during last week's practices did Ferrari truly set any comparable 1-lap times, despite their own criticism of their 1-lap pace, and I doubt they'll change their regimen this weekend either. Just seems dumb to me to hide the car's true performance if you're still lagging behind the leaders.
