Great post. I am stunned at how good the quality is for a 61 year old video. These drivers were definitely men compared up to todays. Don't get me wrong, the speed and danger for today's driving is off the charts, but they are more pretty boys, then men !

Our current guys are on the same edge of the cliff that these guys were on.

The only difference is, Fangio's safety was in the hands of a helmet and goggles. His driver's suit included slacks, a polo shirt, and leather shoes. Maybe a back squeezer, work out belt now, so his back didn't hurt after the race.
