I'm sitting with 7, 8 , 9, 10, and 42. Here's hoping that some front runners take each other out.

 

Call me naive and uninformed, but why are they driving in pairs?

The double car draft this year has proven to be a very potent recipe for higher speeds. The new paved track has further acted upon this drafting. The second car slipstreams behind the first car giving him a push that improves your position and allows ridiculous speeds out of the corners giving you a "run". You will see this all race long. Last year you saw a lot of "trains", 15-20 tucked in with each other. So opposed to a single 450HP car you have a 2 car "single car" with 900HP.

 

^ In other words "Shake and Bake."

 

Damn. Jimmy Johnson is back on the track but he won't be a factor.

Daytona 500 is the only NASCAR race I'll watch.

 

Empty the stands and take the plates off.
