I think he'll score a few more points this year but still fall FAR short of what everyone expects. I don't think he'll be a contender by any stretch of the imagination.

 

He'll do better this year. I doubt he'll be a contender unless Merc gets all the issues settled with the car.

 

Oh btw, the only ones responding to this thread so far are Macca/Hamilton fans!

 

I'm a Schumacher fan, but I believe these days the driver is only as good as the car he's driving for the most part. Maybe Senna could pull off miracles with an inferior car, but these days you won't see a subpar car consistently overachieve...no matter the driver. Maybe if the Pirellis continue to degrade at a much higher rate than the Bridgestones, at least pit strategies can come into play and a few more surprises can take place...but that remains to be seen.

 

Pirelli is playing into Michael's hands. They just need to bring re-fueling back and it'll be like the old days all over again.

Don't forget guys the 2010 Mercedes GP car was built around Button and Rubens.

 

Don't worry, Lewis, you've only got SIX MORE CHAMPIONSHIPS to go before you're even par with Schumi.

 

Not to mention the countless other records Schumacher has.
