A chance that Monaco is dropped from Calendar

I doubt this will ever happen, most likely a way for Ecclestone to get more money, but there is a chance that the Monaco GP will be dropped from the race calendar. I know it's not the most exciting race, but I can't fathom it being dropped.

Here's the article...

Bernie would be a fool to pull Monaco from the schedule. The drivers love it, the fans love it, the sponsors love it. Whether it's putting money directly in his pocket or not, it's the biggest race of the season and F1 wouldn't be the same without it.

Monaco is the epitome of Formula 1 racing.

this makes total sense. after all, it is only the most popular race in the world.

I'm not buying this. Not even Ecclestone is this stupid.

Sounds like posturing. Sponsors would go crazy.

What a bloody idiot. If they want to drop a race drop the Turkish Grand Prix or the Korean Grand Prix. I cannot imagine the Korean Grand Prix having a big crowd in October.

I would say that the likelihood of the Monaco GP being scrapped is about equal to the chance that there will ever be a TEXAS F1 GP.... None!
